ANZAC biscuits

Thank you all for helping with this weeks homework. The biscuits were great and they were tasted, shared and enjoyed by all. It was great to hear how everybodies process went and all about the successes and "not so successes".

Monday 23rd April

Today the students started their Novel studies. This will involve them reading the novel and answering questions about it. I will be conferencing with them individually and  in "same activity" groups to see how they are comprehending and grasping the deeper features and ideas.

Parents do not forget to get your names in as soon as possible so we can organise parent help. If you have not recieved a form please ask your child to get another one.

Homework for Week 1 Term 2 23-27 April

Homework this week is Reading, spelling and filling in your weeks highs and lows. The major task is to bake ANZAC biscuits with your family, write a detailed report on the process and bring the biscuits to school to have a shared tasting on Friday.

This is a blog so that the parents and the students can keep up to date with what is happening in the class and what is on the horizon.


It was a very busy Term 1 and Term 2 looks to be the same. We are going to be working through some career work and having visits out of the class and inviting guests into speak to us. Poetry will continue as well as interchange. Enrichment starts this term which will be Tuesday morning 9-12.
